Tape delay
Enligt vår mening på TGT11 ligger den största skillnaden mellan analoga ekon och bandekon i studsarna. Analoga ekon brukar bli mörka och smutsiga i repeatsen och dessutom ha en skön självoscillation. Echoplex och liknande bandekon brukar tvärtom bli brightare och basen brukar rulla av vartefter studsarna klingar av. De kan också ha en modulation som kommer och går lite av och till beroende på slitna band eller mekanik och det ger en speciell karaktär. Tack vare att basen är lite avrullad hamnar det inte heller i vägen för det man spelar trots att det är brighta repeats.
