We're happy to invite you to an evening dedicated to all things fuzz guitar!

I’m beyond honored and happy to be invited by These Go To 11 to cohost this event where we will explore the ever so inspiring wonders of fuzz guitar.

For the last ten years I’ve based my guitar tone around the fuzz designs of yesteryear, learning and understanding their quirks and personalities that make them so inspiring to play—all the while recording and touring with my original music in Angstbadan and The Bluetonics.

I hope this evening will shed some light on how you get that thick and rich fuzz tone to cut through your mix, which is the best-sounding transistor, what hidden textures lie within the dynamics of a Zonk or an Octavio? Are buffers and fuzz pedals inherently enemies? Do you have to put your fuzz first in line? Are Fuzz Faces too woofy for a humbucker-equipped guitar?

Hopefully, by the end of the night, we all will be a little more enlightened by these questions.
