Walrus Audio Lore MKII Green

Lore MKII creates atmospheric stereo textures with reverse delay, reverb and pitch shifting. Interacting feedback paths develop into swelling pads, octave shimmer and rhythmic pitch patterns.

Five combinations of delay, reverb and pitch

Lore runs two effects in series with interacting feedback paths. Feedback and Regen determine how the sound builds and evolves. The X control changes function between modes to shape a key parameter of each algorithm.

• I: Reverse delay into reverse reverb for backwards swells and evolving textures.
• II: Reverse delay and octave-up reverb for airy shimmer.
• III: Reverse delay and octave-down reverb for darker, heavier ambience.
• IV: Reverse reverb into forward reverb with harmonic feedback for expansive pads.
• V: Two pitch delays interacting in harmonic and rhythmic patterns.

Control for stage and studio

The stereo platform adds MIDI, expression and recallable presets. Tweak controls stereo width, modulation and more. Hold Tap/Shift to engage Dive/Rise, temporarily moving the clock rate up or down with an adjustable target and ramp. Select Trails for natural reverb and delay decay, or No Trails for an immediate stop when bypassed.
