Thunder Welkins Bolt – Handmade in Sweden

Built by Henrik Westlund in Gävle, Sweden, the Thunder Welkins Bolt is a modern, high-performance instrument with premium “no-compromise” features: a recessed Floyd-style trem, locking hardware, a fast 12" radius neck, and a focused medium-output humbucker wired straight for volume-only simplicity.

A standout detail is the use of Rocklite® Sundari for the fretboard and headstock veneer—an engineered, sustainable tonewood designed to replicate the look of Indian rosewood while offering excellent stability. It’s made from real sustainable wood (not vulcanised paper), and each piece has its own unique grain character.

Care & Humidity

This guitar is built in a humidity-controlled workshop. For best long-term stability, keep it in a 40–50% humidity environment. Big humidity changes can affect the shape of the wood. If not playing for a long time, drop the tuning or loosen the strings to avoid unnecessary stress to the neck. Wipe the guitar dry and clean with a soft cloth after playing.
