Thorpy FX Cogmeister

Dinosaural Cogmeister, designed by Dan Coggins and distributed by ThorpyFX, combines three drive sections in one pedal. Stack them to build gain in stages or use each section independently.

Three stages for building gain

Cogmeister combines an overdrive and two boost sections in one pedal. Signal order is fixed: Push feeds Drive, which feeds Solo. The same settings can therefore produce different results depending on which stages you engage together.

Use Drive as your main overdrive voice, add Push before it to change how the next stage is driven, and engage Solo afterwards for extra level and character. Each section can also be used independently. Dedicated footswitches and indicators make the active combination easy to see and change during a performance.

From foundation sound to saturated leads

Separate level, gain and tone controls let you balance the sections with each other and your amplifier. Start with one section at a time, then build combinations. The final stage's level affects both output volume and how hard the amplifier is driven: expect more volume lift into a clean rig, or additional compression and breakup when the amplifier is already working hard.

Cogmeister is a Dinosaural original by Dan Coggins, known for Lovetone and his work with ThorpyFX. Every section has independent hard-wire/true bypass.
