Patrick James Eggle 96 Vintage – Handbuilt in the UK
The Patrick James Eggle 96 is a masterfully crafted evolution of the classic double-cut electric guitar, combining timeless design with modern precision, feel, and tone.
Handbuilt in the UK workshop of Patrick James Eggle, the 96 refines the familiar S-style into a lighter, more sculpted, and more expressive instrument. Every contour is shaped for comfort, every joint is optimised for resonance, and every detail is finished by hand to exacting standards.
Refined Design & Exceptional Playability
The body features a slightly reduced S-type silhouette with sharper horns and ergonomic contouring. A carefully sculpted belly cut and refined neck heel provide effortless upper fret access, making the 96 equally suited for rhythm and lead playing.
The roasted maple neck delivers enhanced stability and a warm, responsive feel, paired with a 12" radius fingerboard for a smooth, natural playing experience across the entire neck.
Premium Tonewoods & Lightweight Resonance
Built from specially selected swamp ash, this guitar is remarkably lightweight while remaining highly resonant and lively, even unplugged.

Why This Guitar Stands Out
The Patrick James Eggle 96 isn’t just another S-style guitar. It’s a refined, boutique-level instrument designed to feel alive in your hands.
“It’s rare to pore over a guitar looking for something to criticise — and fail miserably. The 96 hangs together brilliantly, from its scaled-down body that fits the player so well, to the delightful oiled neck and flawless fret job, a set of sounds that are real and organic, and hardware that gets the job done without affecting tone or playability.”
