Nobel's ODR-1BC w Bass Cut switch

A classic in a new and fresh tapping, Nobels relaunches their ODR-1 which has long been a favorite among many session guitarists in Nashville. You may have heard this one many times without knowing what it is!

Tom Bukovac, Guthrie Trapp, John Shanks, Tim Pierce. The list of Nobel ODR-1 users could be long, but these are just a few of the big names who have relied on this pedal for many years.

The ODR-1 has a natural and open spectrum and is very suitable for crunch and blues or to boost other overdrives. The ODR-1 is extremely versatile and very easy to dial in a good sound. Previously, the ODR-1 was very suitable for single coil guitars such as Stratocaster or Telecaster, but since it was considered to be bassy, Nobels has added a "Bass Cut" that makes it very suitable for humbuckers as well.

Turning “Spectrum” clockwise increases both bass and treble while maintaining the warm and creamy mids. If you want more headroom in the sound, it also works at 18v.

The ODR-1 also works very well on bass!

Teodor Naess - These Go To 11

Over the decades key artists such as Jerry Donahue, Guthrie Trapp, Carl Verheyen, John Shanks, Tim Pierce, Robbie McIntosh, Clem Clempson, Micky Moody and countless other amazing players have made the ODR-1 Natural Overdrive part of their sonic arsenal. While all single coil guitarists as well as most humbucker users and even bassists love the clarity and versatility of the full sound of the ODR-1 some heavy humbucker players asked for the chance to reduce the sub-bass end.

UNDER THE HOOD….

The new ODR-1(bc) now offers a bass-cut switch under the battery cover to preset original ODR-1 sound or to preset slightly reduced sub-bass.

Operation now is possible from 9V – 18V DC for more headroom, if you want it. The pointers on the knobs now are GitD Glow-in-the-Dark.
The ODR-1 has proven to be a favorite with pros, especially session players, as it works so effectively with guitars' volume controls for on-the-fly tonal changes in songs. The pedal's wide range is controlled by a SPECTRUM control tone pot. Turning the knob clockwise increases the bass and treble at the same time. Midrange remains untouched in either direction to offer transparency with a pinch of warmth.
