JAM Pedals Tubedreamer MK.2

Tubedreamer MK.2 develops the classic 808 voice with greater control over dynamics and gain. Its warm, articulate midrange helps guitar sit in the mix, while the separate High Gain stage makes it easy to move from light breakup to more saturated lead tones.

An 808 voice with two clipping options

Tubedreamer MK.2 retains the JRC4558D circuit and focused midrange character while providing more control over the response to your guitar and amplifier. Finer resolution in the low-gain range makes light breakup and cleaner push easier to adjust.

Asymmetrical mode uses three clipping diodes for warm overdrive and a responsive picking feel. The no-diode setting provides a more open response with greater headroom. Level adjusts output, Tone balances the sound and Gain sets the amount of overdrive.

High Gain with a dedicated footswitch

The separate High Gain function adds another gain stage without changing your basic settings. Two internal trimmers adjust its output level independently for each clipping mode. Choose a more even level when changing gain or a deliberate lift for lead parts.

Power-on behaviour is configurable too: the effect and High Gain can each start engaged or bypassed when power is connected. This is useful in a larger rig that needs to start in a specific state.
