The HÄLLELEC TP1 is an instrument preamplifier designed to provide the same tone and feel as old tube amplifiers.
Designed around the duo-triode ECC83 (12AX7), it also incorporates a J-FET transistor in order to lower the noise floor and gain range. An internal charge pump steps up 9v to 180vDC, providing ample headroom for the tube. The result is a preamp that goes from subtle coloring to full on overdrive.
The pedal operates at 9vDC (center negative) and requires 400mA.
