Gramel Gramelsonics Alnico V Set

The Gramelsonics are our tribute to the original DeArmond 2000 pickups from the early ’60s — bright, snappy single coils packed into a humbucker-sized format. Designed as a matched neck and bridge set, they deliver fast transients, clear top-end, and that unmistakable Dyna-style punch.

Unlike many reproductions, these are true single coils, hand-wound and built with individually adjustable Alnico 5 rod magnets. The neck pickup stays clean and open, never muddy. The bridge brings just the right amount of bite, perfect for anything from early rock & roll to jangly indie or surf. Dial in your tone with the adjustable pole pieces — raise them for more snap, lower them for warmth and body.

If you’re after that vintage Rowe/DeArmond sound but want a no-mod drop-in for your humbucker route, this set nails the tone while keeping installation simple.

The Gramelsonics are made with slightly shorter magnets in comparison to the originals making it fit in most humbucker cavities. The design also uses quarter inch (6.35mm) thick magnets to faithfully reproduce the sound of the vintage originals.

NOTE: While these pickups do fit in humbucker covers they are fully authentic single coils.
