The most common is when using two guitar amps, either in a stereo, dual-mono or wet/dry configuration. The minute you split a signal, however, you run into two possible problems: ground loop hum and potential phase reversal.

We developed a balanced non-transformer approach to isolating the second output which means there is ZERO transformer coloration so a true mirror image of your input signal is sent to both outputs either one at a time, or together.
