From its debut in 1995 until its discontinuation in 2017, the original Pittbull Ultra-Lead stood as the flagship of the Fryette line, earning a reputation for precision, authority and unmatched tonal flexibility. Demand for its return never faded, and after an uncompromising three-year development cycle, the Ultra-Lead II arrives as a fully modern touring and recording powerhouse.

Rather than simply recreating the original, Fryette prioritised its most beloved features and then expanded the platform with forward-thinking engineering. The Ultra-Lead II introduces a compact, lightweight form factor, a flexible three-channel topology, a powerful graphic EQ and a super dynamic 120 watt power amplifier designed for maximum clarity, punch and responsiveness.

A major innovation is the integration of the smoother harmonic personality of the Pittbull Hundred CLX, the Ultra-Lead's former sister model. This is achieved through a Patent Pending power valve blending technology that extracts peak performance from mixed pairs of EL34 and 6550 power valves. The result is a unique tonal palette that combines the aggression and articulation of the Ultra-Lead with the harmonic richness and musicality of the CLX.

The Ultra-Lead II also debuts an all-new switching and signal processing platform.
