DanDrive Airness Fuzz

The AIRNESS is DanDrive’s lower-gain fuzz, designed for players who want the texture, sizzle and grit of fuzz without the unruly behaviour of a traditional Fuzz Face.

Sitting somewhere between overdrive and fuzz – or perhaps overfuzz – The AIRNESS adds harmonic grit and character while remaining dynamic, articulate and easy to integrate into an existing pedalboard.

It can add just a touch of fuzzy edge to an already driven amp, deliver gritty overdrive-like rhythm tones, or move further into fuzz territory when pushed. Compared with a classic vintage fuzz circuit, it is considerably less fussy about where it sits in the signal chain, making it a very practical fuzz for modern pedalboards.

And yes – the name and design pay a little homage to a certain basketball legend.
