Guitar friends – we at TGT11 are incredibly proud to introduce a very special instrument from our friends at Castedosa Guitars : El Halcón Baritone!
El Halcón is a creation that really makes a powerful impression - it has something very special. The name means “the falcon” in Spanish, and yes – it really flies.
So what makes the El Halcón so special? First and foremost: the sound . The long 27” scale provides a foundation and clarity in the lower registers that is felt throughout the body. The tone is massive yet articulate, with a response that feels almost telepathic. It is built for musicians who love to explore deeper moods without compromising on playing feel.
The body is made from premium Alder, shaped in the unique Halcón style with soft contours and double cream binding with herringbone purfling . It has a Light Aged Lacquer finish in the gorgeous color Toasted Burnt Marshmallow , giving it a warm, elegant and timeless character.
The distinctive Halcón Guard pickguard in tortoiseshell pattern, along with the engraved arrows and specially designed Halcón inlays , make each instrument a work of art.
Under the hood sit Curtis Novak pickups – a JMV in the neck and a 1446 Mini Humbucker in the bridge – delivering everything from airy tones to powerful punch with amazing dynamics. With Black Mastery Bridge & Trem , aged nickel hardware and Kluson tuners, this is a guitar built for a lifetime of inspiration.
The neck is carved from quartersawn roasted maple with a rosewood fingerboard , medium V-profile and Jescar .600 frets – a combination that feels both vintage and modern at the same time.
