The pedal provides as much — or even slightly more — gain than the original Baby Pink Booster, but with a crucial improvement: you can set the output level independently. This allows you to push the gain until you reach the exact amount of compression you want, while keeping the overall volume under control.

Another unique feature is the Z control, which shapes the high-end sparkle of the boost while also adjusting the input impedance. This affects how your instrument interacts with the pedal and determines how effectively your instrument’s volume knob cleans up the signal. By adjusting the Z control, you can make the volume knob behave more or less actively when rolling back, giving you a wide range of tonal response and feel.
