Alexander Pedals Luminous

Luminous combines classic sweeping phaser sounds with experimental stereo textures. Ten engines cover subtle movement, rhythmic patterns and phase-shifted delay.

From classic phasing to experimental modulation

Luminous is an Alexander Leap Series stereo phaser with ten engines. Classic covers simple stompbox sweeps and dense studio-style phasing with 2–24 stages. Dual combines two phasers in series, parallel or different stereo arrangements. Phase Delay places an eight-stage phaser on the repeats of a delay with up to 800ms of delay time.

Ten approaches to movement

K-Trem combines phase vibrato and tremolo, while Dynamic lets your picking influence the phaser's movement. Infinite combines frequency shifting and phasing for rising or falling motion. Flying Pan uses the stereo field for panned phasing, and Pattern provides rhythmic step sequences. Unique takes inspiration from an older Japanese modulation effect; Phlanger blends phaser and flanger.

Thirty-two user presets store subtle foundation sounds and more pronounced effects. Expression morphing and internal ramping move multiple controls between settings during a performance. Tap tempo keeps the movement in time, and MultiJack accepts expression, MIDI or an external footswitch.

Select mono or TRS stereo input and use the outputs for mono, TRS stereo or two-cable stereo. Delay-based modes offer selectable bypass-trails behaviour.
