Parasit Studio – Handcrafted Pedals from Umeå, Sweden

Parasit Studio is a passion-driven project based in Umeå, Sweden, founded by Fredrik Lyxzén—a seasoned sound engineer and lifelong musician. With over two decades of experience playing drums and guitar, and deep roots in the hardcore/punk scene, he brings a DIY ethos and creative vision to every pedal he builds.

When he’s not crafting unique effects, Fredrik works as a live and studio sound engineer, plays in his bands Left Hand of Darkness and The Dumb Fucks, and spends time with his family. Parasit Studio is a reflection of his love for sound—uncompromising, hands-on, and built to push sonic boundaries.
