The Springer Firehawk is a boutique-built offset that blends the elegance of a vintage-inspired design with the feel and responsiveness of a true player's instrument. Handcrafted in France by Springer Guitars, the Firehawk delivers exceptional resonance, effortless playability and a distinctive voice that stands out in any mix.
Built with a solid Spanish cedar body and matching set neck, the Firehawk offers a lively acoustic response, rich sustain and a warm, woody character. The 25" scale length sits perfectly between traditional Gibson and Fender designs, creating a familiar feel with excellent string tension and comfort.
The pair of custom Sunbear "Sunbirds" pickups provide everything from articulate cleans and chimey rhythm tones to rich overdrive and singing lead sounds. Combined with vintage-style 50s wiring, dual volume and tone controls, and a three-way toggle switch, the Firehawk delivers an impressive range of usable sounds.
This model is equipped with an ABR-1 style bridge and an engraved long Maestro Vibrola, adding expressive vibrato while retaining excellent tuning stability. Finished in thin nitrocellulose lacquer with tasteful weather checking, it feels like a well-loved vintage instrument from day one.
It's no surprise that acclaimed guitarist Chris Buck has been seen using a Springer Firehawk, drawn to its inspiring feel, dynamic response and unmistakable character.
