I first met Dan at the Mannheim Guitar Show a few years back - long before the waiting lists and buzz - and we were proud to become his very first dealer. Since then, Dan has grown into a true authority in the world of fuzz and old-school effects, earning a reputation for pedals that feel as good as they sound.

DanDrive is all about vintage-quality fuzzes, meticulously hand-wired using the very best components available. Dan is extremely deliberate in his component choices, guided by sound and feel rather than dogma. While some carefully selected old-stock parts do make their way into his circuits, he’s never constrained by them - tone always comes first.

What truly defines a DanDrive pedal is the methodology behind it. Every detail matters, right down to the wiring itself. Dan pays special attention to wiring layout and directionality, which he considers crucial to the character, shape, texture, and clarity of the final tone.
