Nils Nord IB - II Blood Red
Handcrafted in Sweden by Nils Nord, the IB - II is a boutique offset-inspired guitar that blends vintage character with modern precision. Built from lightweight reclaimed pinewood, every instrument is individually crafted to deliver exceptional resonance, effortless playability, and inspiring tone.
Finished in a striking Blood Red, the ultra-thin, lightly aged nitrocellulose lacquer features authentic lacquer checking that gives the guitar the appearance and feel of a well-played vintage instrument while allowing the wood to resonate as freely as possible.
The maple neck is paired with a smoked oak fingerboard featuring a comfortable 12" radius and a versatile Medium C profile, making the IB - II equally at home whether you're playing intricate lead lines, rich chord voicings, or expressive bends.
At its heart is a pair of Lundgren Firebird pickups. Known for their remarkable clarity, dynamic response, and articulate midrange, they deliver everything from shimmering cleans to punchy overdriven tones while retaining exceptional note separation. It's a voice that sits perfectly between a traditional single-coil and a humbucker, offering plenty of character without sacrificing definition.
Premium appointments including a Faber bridge, Kluson tuners, and a hand-cut bone nut ensure outstanding tuning stability, resonance, and reliability. Like every Nils Nord guitar, the IB - II is built one at a time with meticulous attention to detail and is designed to be an instrument you'll reach for every day.
