MXR Flanger/Doubler
The MXR Flanger/Doubler brings the legendary MXR rack unit to your pedalboard, authentically recreating the all-analog flanging and doubling effects heard across countless landmark recordings from the 1970s and ’80s.
Built with authentic bucket-brigade devices and the original control layout, the Flanger/Doubler delivers everything from sweeping jet-engine modulation and metallic resonance to rich chorusing, studio-style doubling and tightly dialled slapback delay.
Two Classic Modulation Voices
Use the Doubler button to switch between two distinct effects:

Flanger: Produces sweeping movement, dramatic jet-like textures and resonant metallic tones.

Doubler: Adds a slightly delayed second layer to thicken your sound, create lush chorus effects or produce a short slapback delay.
Shape the Motion
The original control set gives you extensive control over the character and movement of the effect:

Manual: Sets the central delay time and tonal character.

Width: Controls the range and depth of the modulation sweep.

Speed: Adjusts the modulation rate.

Regen: Adds feedback, taking the effect from smooth and subtle to intense metallic resonance.

Mix: Blends the dry and effected signals from completely dry to fully wet.
Visual Modulation Display
Two LEDs display the instantaneous delay time and modulation movement. Their speed, brightness and left-to-right activity respond to the Speed, Width and Manual settings, making it easier to adjust the effect on dark or noisy stages.
Invert the Wet Signal
The Invert switch reverses the polarity of the effected signal, unlocking additional textures ranging from airy, hollow and vocal-like sounds to a powerful low-mid punch.
Made for Pedalboards, Studios and Synth Setups
CV input and output connections allow integration with synthesizers, sequencers, CV-compatible expression pedals and other external equipment. A dedicated Line Level switch ensures optimal performance with hotter studio and effects-loop signals.
