Moonbow is an adaptation of a classic voltage-controlled dual-mode filter paired with a hot-rodded version of the channel strip from our Mixer. The filter is placed in front of the overdrive, for gentle signal compression or bold saturation of its resonant peaks. The flexibility of the gain and level controls allows for use with both instrument level and line level.
CONTROLS
GAIN: Adjustable from -13dB to +20dB. Turn clockwise to increase gain.
LVL: Output volume level. Turn CCW
to cut and CW to boost.
CUTOFF: Adjusts the frequency range of the filter from 20Hz to 5kHz.
RES: Controls the resonance of the filter. Caution should be exercised when pushing past seventy percent. Strong oscillations will occur.
HP/LP toggle: Switch between high pass filter & low pass filter.
CV IN: Control voltage input for ‘CUTOFF.’ Accepts 0-5V.
