CONTINUA is one of the most inspiring and experimental pedals we've come across in recent years. Rather than simply repeating your signal, it listens to how you play, constantly capturing, reshaping and transforming your sound into evolving textures, fractured echoes, ambient landscapes and unpredictable sonic movements.
The name continua comes from an Italian expression meaning "keep going" – a reminder to persist even when the path ahead is uncertain. That philosophy is built directly into the pedal, where every repeat evolves, mutates and finds new directions as you play.
Developed through a collaboration between AC Noises and Andrea Degli Esposti (BunkerNoise), CONTINUA combines an intelligent stereo dynamic sampler with an exceptionally deep multi-effect engine, giving adventurous players an entirely new way to interact with delay, ambience and sound design.
A Sampler That Reacts To Your Playing
Unlike a traditional delay, CONTINUA continuously analyzes your playing and dynamically captures fragments of your performance. These samples can then drift, regenerate, reverse, stretch, pitch-shift, glitch or dissolve into expansive ambient textures.
Your dry signal can remain completely unaffected or be routed through the internal effects engine for even more creative possibilities.
