The flax fibers required for this come from SwissFlax in the Emmental. Flax has an excellent ecological balance because compared to other natural fibers such as cotton, less land, water, pesticides and fertilizers are required for cultivation. And above all: in contrast to synthetic fibers, flax is a renewable, biodegradable raw material. This also prevents the creation of microplastics.
