The Sälen NX 6 Tremolo Plini Edition shares many appointments with its Boden sibling, including a Mahogany body and neck, an Ebonol fretboard, and the expressive EGS Rev7 tremolo bridge, but also brings its own character to the table. The Sälen body shape harks back to the origins of the solid-body electric guitar and gives an aesthetic profile that is both old and new, while the Suhr Classic T neck Single-Coil provides access to clear and pristine neck pickup tones not available in the Boden Plini model.

The Sälen NX 6 Tremolo Plini Edition provides all the acclaimed features of the wildly popular and beloved Sälen Jazz but is equipped with the EGS Rev7 tremolo bridge to add greater versatility with vibrato effects and textures. The .strandberg* Plini Edition or Suhr™ SSH+ bridge humbucker and the Suhr™ Classic T single-coil pickup with the 3-way switch with custom wiring and one volume pot provide a plethora of great humbucker and single-coil sounds to cover virtually any musical genre and playing style with minimalist simplicity. The Sälen’s unique body shape exudes a more traditional and classy aesthetic as well as modernism that is eye-catching as it is ergonomically functional.

What Does It Do?
The Sälen NX 6 Tremolo Plini Edition was designed in conjunction with Plini and was engineered and produced to be sonically versatile but aesthetically minimalist. With the EGS Rev7 tremolo system, the Sälen is now capable of producing a wide range of vibrato effects and textures that had only been possible on Boden models equipped with the same tremolo system. Robust, solid, smooth, and reliable, the EGS Rev7 tremolo is easy to operate and stays in tune. The Suhr™ SSH+ bridge humbucker and the Suhr™ Classic T single-coil pickup deliver a wide range of sounds from heavy and mean to twangy and warm. The 3-way switch is custom wired to provide three exceptional sounds that respond with superb sensitivity to volume pot adjustments. Sometimes, less is indeed more.
