Matthias Sonnemo, a revered Masterbuilder at Sonnemo, has crafted the Sonnemo Vintage ST to honor the timeless legacy of classic electric guitars. This exclusive model features an alder body with a stunning Custom Green cellulose lacquer finish and a medium relic treatment. The guitar is equipped with a white pickguard and standard ST body contours, including arm and belly cuts with a rounded and tilted neck heel for enhanced comfort.
The neck, made from roasted maple, features a Sonnemo Medium C Plus profile and a compound radius rosewood fretboard (10”-14”). It comes with 22 stainless steel jumbo Jescar frets (57110), real clay cream dots, and a dual-acting truss rod adjustable at the headstock. The 42mm nut width and Gotoh locking tuners ensure optimal playability and tuning stability.
For electronics, the Sonnemo Vintage ST boasts a Sonnemo Axon Hybrid SSS pickup set with standard 5-way ST switching and a treble bleed circuit, delivering versatile and dynamic tones. The Gotoh ST Tremolo (6-screw) with a tremolo arm bushing completes the build, providing excellent vibrato control and sustain.
