Our Modifications

We’ve chosen to modify this classic to feature a single channel instead of two. This channel corresponds to the Deluxe Reverb's "Vibrato" channel, which includes both reverb and tremolo. The tremolo is a bias-modulated tremolo, inspired by the Brownface style, where the tremolo circuit adjusts the bias of the power tubes. This creates a smooth, refined tremolo effect that gently raises and lowers the volume.

Additionally, we’ve trimmed the bass frequencies slightly to eliminate “boom” and provide greater stability in the low-end. With just one channel, the amplifier fits into a smaller, more portable cabinet.

To make this amplifier extra special, we’ve added a dwell function, offering greater control over the reverb sound. This feature can be especially useful when pairing the amplifier with effect pedals.
