Here’s a machine cut pickguard combined with a laser engraved MDF routing template to make the customization a breeze! The pickguards are normally supplied in black and white 3ply with a beveled edge but can be made custom upon request.

Crafted with spec-correct AWG 38 wire, the Charlie Christian pickup boasts a lower DC resistance, providing a warmer, fuller sound with a healthy output that is closer to a P90 than a typical single-coil. Whether you’re playing clean or just on the verge of overdrive, it brings out the best in every note, making it perfect for soulful blues riffs and elegant jazz lines.

This set comes paired with our Vintage Broadcaster Telecaster Bridge Pickup, which has been slightly overwound to match the output of the Charlie Christian neck pickup. Together, they form a perfectly balanced set that brings out the rich, dynamic tones of both pickups — from the warm, creamy neck sound to the bright, cutting bridge tone. The Telecaster bridge pickup stays true to the vintage Broadcaster design while offering a bit more warmth and character, making it a perfect complement to the Charlie Christian in the neck position.
