Voluptuous Noise Guitars “Dice”
The First of it's kind. A true one-off instrument, it combines old-school craftsmanship, carefully selected materials and a distinctive set of vintage-inspired electronics.
The Dice features a swamp ash body paired with a maple neck and maple fingerboard. The body is finished in traditional cellulose lacquer, while the neck has been treated with shellac and Tru-Oil, giving the instrument a natural feel that will age beautifully with time and use.
The pickups were salvaged from a 1960s Klira guitar and are believed to have been made by Schaller. Their age and character give the Dice a unique voice, with the kind of unpredictable personality that can only come from vintage components.
The hardware has been carefully selected throughout, including Gotoh tuners, a Gotoh Nashville bridge, CTS pots and a Guitarlabs switch. Aluminium details and Wagner jumbo frets complete the build, while a double-action truss rod provides reliable and precise neck adjustment.

Built by Voluptuous Noise Guitars
Voluptuous Noise Guitars is a one-man workshop based in Gröndal, Stockholm, where Markus Sjöberg builds electric guitars by hand using traditional methods and a deliberately slow approach.
Markus has been building guitars since 2010, when he began selling parts of his own guitar collection to invest in something he had become even more passionate about: beautiful pieces of wood.
Since then, production has remained intentionally small, with around 4–6 guitars built each year. The instruments are made partly in the workshop and partly at the kitchen table, often with Markus' kids playing around him, as well as during the late evenings and nights once the house has gone quiet.
The Dice is the first example of this model, making it a particularly personal and unique piece of the Voluptuous Noise Guitars story.
