The AQUEOUS is J. Rockett’s new modulation pedal designed to bridge vintage chorus warmth and modern, watery tones — it covers everything from ‘70s lush Bucket Brigade tones to smooth Eric Johnson-style textures.

Unlike most modulation pedals, the AQUEOUS features a dedicated preamp stage to bring back the dynamics and feel that are often lost in traditional chorus circuits — this makes it feel more “amp-like” and lively under the fingers. The preamp control truly brings the circuit to life.

Its Tilt EQ is the tonal “control center”: it only affects the wet signal and lets you tilt the frequency balance from dark and vintage to bright and modern with a single knob — effectively shaping the overall character and feel of the chorus.

The Mix control lets players move seamlessly from rich chorus blends to full-on Vibe sounds, making the pedal highly versatile for players who want multiple modulation voices in one compact format.
