Tyler JTG Series MK1 FR – White Pearl Metallic
The Tyler JTG Series MK1 FR combines the unmistakable feel and versatility associated with James Tyler guitars with the added stability and expressive range of a Floyd Rose tremolo system.
Finished in striking White Pearl Metallic with a matching headstock, the MK1 FR features a two-piece alder body paired with a Canadian hard maple neck and Indian rosewood fingerboard. The Thin 64 neck profile, rolled fingerboard edges and compound 10"–14" radius give the guitar a fast, comfortable feel that works equally well for rhythm playing, wide bends and technical lead work.
The pickup configuration consists of JTG5500 single coils in the neck and middle positions, with the middle pickup reverse-wound/reverse-polarity for hum cancelling in the combined positions. A powerful JTG Super humbucker handles the bridge position and features automatic coil splitting for additional clarity and versatility.
A custom JTG midboost preamp adds another dimension to the electronics. Activated via a bypass button, it provides a carefully voiced boost centred around 150 Hz and 450 Hz, making it easy to add body, presence and extra push for solos or heavier sounds.
A Floyd Rose 1500 tremolo bridge and locking nut provide excellent tuning stability even with aggressive tremolo use, while JTG open-gear tuners, black hardware and dome knobs complete the modern, performance-focused specification.
