The Foxrox Wah Retrofit is the classic solution. It is a self-contained JFET buffer/amp circuit designed to be installed inside your wah pedal, giving it the output strength it needs to cut through fuzz pedals without losing sweep, depth or character.
By adding a proper output section to the wah circuit, the Foxrox Wah Retrofit helps restore the full range and musical response of vintage-style wah pedals. It works especially well with classic inductor-based wah circuits, including many vintage wahs and high-end boutique models.

Volume Control
The onboard trimmer offers continuous volume adjustment, with up to around 6 dB of extra gain available. This makes it possible to fine-tune the output level without changing the natural tone of the wah pedal.
Installation
The Foxrox Wah Retrofit is relatively simple to install, but it does require soldering. We recommend installation by someone with good soldering experience or a qualified technician.
