Raw amplifier-style fuzz
La Montagne captures the raw character of an amplifier pushed to its limits: thick, grainy and snarling, with the response and energy of a circuit right on the edge. The design is stripped back to the essential controls without compromising the tone.
Two cascading fuzz stages
The three-position MORE switch changes the intensity of the fuzz and activates the second gain stage when you need extra weight.
OFF: uses the first fuzz stage for an already bold and heavy sound.
MID: activates the second stage with a carefully tuned medium setting.
HIGH: delivers maximum gain, volume and thickness.
Simple, effective tone shaping
TONE: a wide-ranging tilt EQ that balances lows and highs.
SCOOP: cuts the midrange for a more aggressive response.
